WCEM uses Rock Tape products during Kinesiology Taping for both horses & riders.
**Rock Tape is a flexible cotton & nylon fibers tape with acrylic adhesive. This tightly woven tape offers balance of stretch, breathability, moisture management & effective long lasting adhesive that minimizes that chance of skin irritation.
What is Kinesiology Taping? Developed for human athletes in the 1970's by Japanese chiropractor Kenzo Kase. Conventional athletic tape applies pressure & acts like a brace. KT stretches allowing it to provide support during exercise without restricting motion. When applied correctly KT decompresses the skin & interacts with the neurosensory receptors, which results in decreased pain, increased blood flow & dynamic support of muscles & joints.
